Is all stress bad?

We’ve spoken before about the fact that some stress in our lives is a good thing; after all, no organism can grow – physically or mentally – without stress. And the one thing that academic definitions of resilience can agree on is the fact that, in order to have or demonstrate resilience, we need some stress. This video is an excerpt from a recent Resilience Shield fireside chat with the amazing DadMod community – in it, Tim talks about the Yerkes-Dodson law and the requirement for stressors (including teenage daughters!) for optimal performance.
